Our Key Community Initiatives
At RCCG Praise Chapel Fredericton, our faith is not just practiced within the four walls of the church — it reaches into the heart of our community. We believe that demonstrating the love of Christ means meeting practical needs, empowering individuals, and creating opportunities for transformation. We are committed to being a light in our city through various outreach programs and support services.

Free Community Tax Clinic
We offer a free, volunteer-run tax clinic each year to assist low-income individuals and families file their taxes accurately and on time. Our team of trained volunteers helps ease the burden of tax season and ensures that community members receive the benefits and credits they are entitled to.

Food Pantry Outreach
No one should go hungry. Our Food Pantry provides essential grocery items to individuals and families facing food insecurity. By ensuring access to nutritious food, we aim to restore dignity and bring hope to those in need

Youth Development Programs
We invest in the next generation through mentorship, academic support, leadership development, and faith-based empowerment programs. From workshops to recreational events, we provide a safe and encouraging environment where young people can grow in purpose, character, and confidence.

Family Centered Initiatives
The church actively promotes family centered programs that help strengthen bonds and promote unity within households. Through programs like marriage enrichment workshops, parenting classes, family counseling and recreational events, the church encourages love, understanding, and togetherness at home. The goal is fostering healthier families and, in turn, a stronger, more connected community.

Newcomer Settlement Support
Starting life in a new country can be overwhelming. Our New Immigrants Settlement Services are designed to help newcomers to Canada integrate successfully into society. We provide guidance on housing, job search, language skills, and community orientation — all in a welcoming, faith-centred environment.

Why We Serve
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to love our neighbours and serve our communities with compassion and humility. Every initiative is driven by this purpose: to be God’s hands and feet to those around us, offering help, hope, and healing.
